  • WHY do we teach in one way or another?

  • WHY do we instruct something instead of something else?

3 MAIN CATEGORIES OF PLAYERS

Based on actual skills we can identify three main categories of abilities

BEGINNERS

Still unable to keep the ball in play consistently

INTERMEDIATE

Able to keep the ball in play mainly in relatively easy situations

ADVANCED

Able to keep the ball in play more or less consistently in all situations
